Northern Star Gallery

For the last three years, I have had the privilege of
serving the children of Ambato, Ecuador with Medical
Mission Ecuador. This is a group of dedicated medical
personnel who spend a week each February in
Ambato, Ecuador providing services to hundreds of
underprivileged children. It is based out of Alabama
and Kentucky, but with participants from all over the
USA.
Ecuador is a beautiful country and the people of
Ecuador are wonderful and very grateful for what we
are able to do for them. I have been fortunate to have
been able to do some photography while on the
Mission.

Ambato, Ecuador is
a city known for it's
many parks and
gardens. Each year
in February there is
the Festival of Fruit
and Flowers with
parades, bull fights,
and dancing. The
city has been known
as the "City of
Flowers", and this
song was written
after my first
medical mission in
2007
